Good Samaritan Hospital reps to visit Guam

[B]GUAM[/B]—Good Samaritan Hospital representatives Thomas W. Bauman, physician director, and Jason Ho, M.D., cancer specialist, will visit the island from June 15 through June 21. Baumann and Dr. Ho and will be meeting with other local physicians, health care providers as well as meeting their former and current patients while on island. Medicaid and MIP patients from Guam will also be serviced at this facility.

Good Samaritan Hospital is one of America’s 50 Best Hospitals in 2007 and 2008, according to Healthgrades, the nation’s leading independent health care ratings company. A great majority of Guam patients have been seen at this hospital over the past 20 years. In addition, the Weingart Guest House where most Guam patients and family members stay is located on the campus of the hospital.

The public is invited to attend and will have an opportunity to ask questions from Good Samaritan Hospital representatives on the following dates and times:

* Tuesday, June 17 at 7pm at the Dededo Community Center.

* Tuesday, June 17 from 2 pm until 5:30pm and Thursday, June 19 from 2pm until 5:30pm at the SDA.

* Wednesday, June18 from 9am until 12pm and 2pm until 5pm at the PMC Island Clinic for consultation for blood and other cancer related conditions.
