Three students top Eucon grads
Twelfth grader Christa Wei, 6th grader Jan Azalia Cabanes and K5 John Oh received their President’s Awards as top students during Eucon International School’s recent graduation ceremony.
Eucon’s 10th Annual Graduation Ceremony was held at the school’s newly built Agape Auditorium in Gualo Rai. Students from 1st grade to 12th grade were also given awards for their outstanding academic performances in the 2007-2008 school year.
Principal Award recipient for 12th grade was Yun Ling Mai, 8th grade was Peter Miral, 6th grade was Yong Jung Kim, and K5 was Seo Jin Park.
Dean’s Award recipient for 8th grade was Joon Lee, 6th grade was Carlo Dan Santos, and K5 was Ao Feng Zheng.
Eucon’s 12th grade graduates were Wei, Mai, Anna Priscilla Poblador, Emalyn Torres, Lee Verne, and Endian Wang.
Christa Wei, the daughter of Eucon International School president Dr. Christian Wei, will enroll with the Eucon International College this Fall.
Dr. Wei said the school is very grateful for the many accomplishments of Eucon students throughout their course of studying at the school.
“Many of them have already applied for college and have already been accepted. We are very grateful for that,” Dr. Wei said.
He emphasized the importance of education and recognized teachers as a key element to a successful education, as well as the need for students to commit themselves to learning more and the support the parents provide their children.
