All public water systems must distribute the Consumer Confidence Report for year 2007 to customers by July 1, 2008.

“In addition to distributing to customers, a copy must also be delivered to Division of Environmental Quality along with a completed certification letter stating that you have distributed the CCR to your customers and that the information is correct and consistent with the compliance monitoring data previously submitted to DEQ,” a DEQ statement said.

Assistance in preparing the CCR is available from the EPA document—Preparing your Drinking Water Consumer Confidence Report: Revised Guidance for water supplier—available online at http://www.epa.gov/safewater.

The DEQ Safe Drinking Water Staff are also available to review a draft of the CCR. Arrange an appointment with CCR coordinator Julie De la Rosa at 664-8500 prior to June 13 if you want help with preparing your CCR. (DEQ)
