The Northern Marianas Amateur Sports Association will hold its regular monthly meeting tonight, June 12, 7pm at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium conference room.

The meeting was originally scheduled last Thursday, June 5, but a scheduled load shedding that day forced NMASA to reset the tete-a-tete a week later.

NMASA president Michael A. White also requested all members of the NMASA Board of directors to stay for a brief board meeting following the general membership meeting.

As always, NMASA member associations will vote for the best athletes for the previous month (May) in four categories (male, female, male student, and female student) during the June general membership meeting.

NMASA reminds associations that will be nominating their athletes to submit written nominations in multiple copies to be distributed to members during the meeting.

Among the topics also set to be discussed during the meeting will be the CNMI’s participation in the 2009 Pacific Mini Games in the Cook Islands.
