Mom-to-be wins Foremost’s baby grand prize

Willina Mae Borja, seven months pregnant and an avid milk drinker, is the lucky winner of Foremost Foods’ “Gotta lotta cases?” promo.

Drinking milk regularly proved to be good not only for Willina Mae and her baby, but also for her kitchen improvement.

Willina Mae Borja, 18, of Chinatown—whose uncle, Richard Borja, says she has been drinking milk like water since she became pregnant—won a kitchen showcase that consists of a barbecue grill, rice cooker, blender, bread toaster, food processor, pressure cooker, waffle maker, microwave oven, toaster oven, a cookware set, and a dinnerware set.

“I’m surprised that Willina Mae drinks milk like water. She drinks milk practically the whole day—before she goes to work in the morning, when she takes her lunch, and before she goes to bed. We have fruit juices at home, but she prefers to drink milk. No wonder her skin and her body are much improved,” Richard said.

“I guess my baby is lucky,” Willina Mae said when she learned that she won the Foremost “Gotta lotta cases?” promo baby grand prize.

Willina Mae said she wasn’t expecting to win. “When I put my entries in the drop box, I wasn’t even thinking that I would win. I was so surprised when I was informed that I won. I am very thankful to Foremost Foods for coming up with this promo,” she said.

“I’ll save and use the prizes that I won when I finally need them,” she said.

Willina Mae received her prizes at the Foremost Foods office in Chalan Lau Lau on June 6, 2008. She won in the promo’s second drawing, which was held on June 2, 2008.

There were eight winners in the first drawing, which was held on May 9, 2008. Each won one kitchen item. Five of the eight winners in the first drawing said they regularly bought Foremost Foods’ milk products by the case for their kids.

Foremost Foods’ “Gotta lotta cases?” promo runs from April 16 to July 5, 2008. The grand prize winner will take home a 7.5-cu. ft. refrigerator, rice cooker, microwave oven, bread toaster, blender, food processor, pressure cooker, cookware set, barbecue grill, dinnerware set, convection oven with rotisserie and waffle maker.

To qualify for the grand prize drawing, entry forms must be received not later than July 5, 2008.

A customer will receive an entry form for every purchase of six 1-qt cartons of Foremost UHT Reduced Fat and/or Full Cream milk. See drop boxes for promo rules.
