Due to the Commonwealth Ports Authority’s inability to self-generate and power distribution equipment problems in Feeder 3, the previously promulgated June 13, 2008, CUC load-shedding schedule requires additional temporary changes. Because of the equipment failure in Feeder 3 on Tuesday, it will be replaced with Feeder 1, Second & Third Partials and Feeder 3 laterals only from 2pm through 4pm.

The first partial in each of the respective Feeder/Kiya could be included to the schedule should the second partial be insufficient. In addition, water and wastewater services will also be affected in the respective areas as a result of the power outages.

CUC will make all efforts to keep to this schedule; however, such schedule may be modified in future public notices. Please be informed that such schedule may be altered to address particular emergencies when necessary. (CUC)
