Tabi TV Japan completes filming in CNMI
Tabi TV recently filmed on the islands of Saipan, Tinian and Rota for a one-hour cable documentary travel program that will air in October.
With a viewership of 2,504,000, the story will promote the semi-long stay opportunities on the islands to the active senior market in Japan. The program is scheduled to air five times giving the Commonwealth great exposure in Japan. The estimated ad value is US$213,500.
In addition to filming the program, the crew met with the MVA Active Senior Ad Hoc committee to learn more about their goals and initiatives to attract this market. This was a great collaboration, MVA said in a statement.
MVA members who made this possible include Mariana Resort & Spa, Saipan Sea Venture, Sand Castle, Tasi Tours, Kinpachi Restaurant, Pacific Eagle and Tinian Dynasty Hotel & Casino.
“The active senior market is a potentially lucrative market for the CNMI’s tourism industry,” said MVA managing director Perry Tenorio. “This feature on the CNMI from Tabi TV will heighten awareness on the destination among the active senior market in Japan.” (MVA)
