Petition signings at Kagman center
There will be a petition signing outside the Kagman Community Center on Thursday, July 17, at 6:30pm. The petitions are the Open Government Act petition and the Friends of the Marianas Trench petition.
There will be a petition signing outside the Kagman Community Center on Thursday, July 17, at 6:30pm. The petitions are the Open Government Act petition and the Friends of the Marianas Trench petition.
The Open Government Act aims for accountability and transparency through announcements of legislative hearings and sessions, as well as public access to records, including financial data.
The Friends of the Marianas Trench petition aims to protect and preserve our ocean’s natural resources, particularly the three northernmost isolated Chamorro islands.
There will also be a registration for Democrats who wish to vote in the 2008 closed primary for CNMI delegate and the 2009 gubernatorial primary election. [B][I](PR)[/I][/B]
