The generator at Jhem’s Restaurant in Garapan was stolen Wednesday morning, restaurant staff members told the Saipan Tribune yesterday.

At about 6am, staff members realized the cables locking up the generator had been cut, and the equipment itself was missing, a staff member said.

The staff reported the stolen generator, worth $1,300, to the police.

This is the second time the restaurant has had something stolen. Last year, staff said, $180 and a camera were stolen from the restaurant.

The police has yet to issue a formal report on the latest incident.
