BoG Christmas card contest

The Bank of Guam is now accepting entries for its 2nd Annual Christmas Card Contest. With a due date of Friday, Sept. 26, 2008, entries are being accepted from elementary and middle school students throughout Guam, the CNMI, Republic of Palau, the Federated States of Micronesia and the Republic of the Marshall Islands.

[B]HAGATNA, Guam[/B]—The Bank of Guam is now accepting entries for its 2nd Annual Christmas Card Contest. With a due date of Friday, Sept. 26, 2008, entries are being accepted from elementary and middle school students throughout Guam, the CNMI, Republic of Palau, the Federated States of Micronesia and the Republic of the Marshall Islands.

“Celebrating a Green Christmas” is this year’s theme, and the subject matter should tell a story about the importance of caring for our environment all year long. The medium is a 4X6 card entry using water colors, pastel crayons, colored pencils or acrylic paints only. Prizes are as follows:

First prize is $250; second prize, $175; and third prize, $100. Prizes also to include a gift basket of school supplies.
