Chamber membership meeting today
The Saipan Chamber of Commerce will host its monthly membership meeting today, Oct. 1, at Pacific Islands Club, in Charlie’s Cabaret. Simon Sanchez, the chairman of the Guam Consolidated Commission on Utilities, will speak at the meeting. This will be a great opportunity to learn about the serious troubles that faced the Guam utilities system not too long ago, how they have largely addressed those problems, and what the CNMI can learn from Guam’s history in this regard. Registration and lunch will begin at 11:30am, and the meeting will begin at noon. Meeting fees are $15 for members, $20 for guests of members, and $25 for general public.
