Bae Yong Man qualified for next month’s Refaluwasch Golf Association 2008 Club Championship after carding a score of net 69 last Saturday during the club’s November Ace of the Month Tournament.

Held in conjunction with the Inaugural RGA Memorial Classic, Man actually finished fourth behind John Rebuenog (64), July Ace Manny Mangarero (68), and Rey Tigilao (69).

The South Korean, however, bagged the slot for the yearned tournament since Rebuenog and Tigilao didn’t have enough qualifiers and tourneys under their belts to advance to the Club Championship and Mangarero already won earlier this year.

Man wound up with the score to beat following a superb round that saw him card the day’s only under-par gross score of 69.

He actually struggled a bit in the first nine holes, needing three extra swings (38) but more than made up for it in the back nine, where he went on to score a 33.

A total of 21 RGA members took part in the competition. The players, with their scores in parenthesis, were as follows: Dwain Stephens (net 71), Luis Byun (71), Asterio Tawanpiy (71), Jess Wabol (72), Adam Hardwicke (73), Sonny Flores (74), John Mettao (75), Jordan Kossam (75), Tars Olopai (76), Tony Rogolifoi (77), Tom Tebuteb (79), Louis Tilipao (79), Ed Tenorio (79), Joe Demapan (79), Ulysis Kapileo (81), and Jay Choi (85).
