Ping-pong players on Saipan will team up with their counterparts from Tinian today in conducting a table tennis clinic at the Grace Christian Academy campus up in Navy Hill.

Marianas Amateur Table Tennis Association spokesman Budhi Gurung said four club members including himself will facilitate the clinic along with three representatives from the Tinian Dynasty Hotel and Casino table tennis club led by TDHC managing director Alfred Yue.

Other MATTA members helping out in the clinic are president Steve Lim, Jean Shi, and Su Yong Dong. Yue, for his part, will be accompanied in the trip to Saipan by Mark Ma and Luke Lu.

Gurung said the clinic will begin at 3:30pm and that they are inviting as many students as possible to attend the event.

“The more players from MATTA the best for the students to learn in the fastest way with different kinds of techniques so that they may represent CNMI for off-island competition in the near future,” he said. (MATTA)
