Cape Air posts outstanding performance in Q3
“Cape Air completed the third quarter with the eight consecutive months of recording a 100 percent segment completion factor,” said Continental Micronesia Guam and Micronesia director for sales and marketing David Kendell.
Achieving a 100 percent completion factor means that every flight was completed and without a single cancellation.
“Cape Air continues to operate at a high reliability factor and makes every effort to exceed customer expectations. The airline continues to serve the Marianas with an excellent product and quality service by offering on-time and reliable scheduled service well above industry averages, a comfortable flight using a pressurized cabin, and multiple flight schedules for intra-Marianas travel, which includes Guam, Saipan, and Rota,” said Kendell.
Cape Air finished the third quarter with a 97.2 percent arrivals within 14 minutes.
Additionally, there were seven consecutive months of 20 or more days of perfect days of no delays or cancellations.
In 2007, Cape Air flew over 680,000 passengers with over 120,000 flight operations in destinations around the world including New England, the Caribbean, Florida, Indiana and Micronesia.
As one of the largest independent regional airlines in the United States, Cape Air operates up to 900 daily flights during peak times in both U.S. domestic and International markets. Cape Air has been serving travelers since 1989 and operates a fleet of 2 ATR42s and 49 Cessna 402s. An employee owned company, Cape Air has been honored by the Federal Aviation Administration with the Diamond Award for Outstanding Maintenance.
