Christmas 8-Ball tomorrow

USS Peliliu Club will holds its annual Christmas 8-Ball Tournament tomorrow, Dec. 23, beginning at 7pm.

Prizes will be cash, trophies, wrapped gifts, and raffle giveaways. The entry fee will be $15, so there will be cash prizes of $120, $75, and $45 for a 16-player field.

“A lot of players asked for this after the Thanksgiving Marianas Turkey Shoot,” said Ken Phillips of USSP. “Christmas Eve is family time for a lot of people so we’re holding it on Tuesday.”

The regular Monday “friendly” 8-ball tournament will be held this week for players who want the practice. The entry fee is only $5 and it starts at 8pm. Both tournaments are double-elimination.

Phillips said the Monday 8-ball and Tuesday 9-ball tournaments last week had to be cancelled because the power was out until after 11pm. They will continue next week.
