Hard Rock greets 2009 with a bang
Hard Rock Café greeted 2009 with a bang as partygoers jammed its New Year’s countdown event at the close of last year.
Aldwin Culiat, Hard Rock’s assistant general manager, estimated the turnout to be over 150 people.
“It was really a success. Although it was a soft re-launching our guests, that included families of our suppliers, enjoyed the night,” Culiat said.
He said they will definitely make a better preparation next time—more promotion, more awareness, and more exciting raffle prizes.
Culiat said PTI came up in the last minute to donate a cellular phone for the raffle draw.
The countdown was spiced-up by entertainment from homegrown talents including the Frozen Nipple band, and a the masquerade show featuring the Final Xtreme, the runner-up in the CNMI’s best dance crew competition.
“Parents and children as well as the tourists spent their time enjoying the quality food we prepared for them,” Culiat said.
Hard Rock distributed glasses of champagne for the adult guests to welcome 2009 with a toast and a loud cheer amid all the much louder fireworks outside.
