Yang is new GM of Rota Resort
Rota Resort Country Club has new general manager in the person of Simon Yang.
The 600-acre golf club’s owner, JMSH LLC, announced Yang’s appointment in a recent media release, stating that the Holiday Resort Spa Guam general manager will hold the two positions concurrently.
“With over 19 years experience in the hospitality industry, Mr. Yang brings a wealth of knowledge and experience specializing in the Asian hospitality market and international service standards,” said JMSH LLC.
Yang previously served as executive assistant manager of the Saipan World Resort, involved in the resort renovation and opening of the property.
“Yang continues to explore various opportunities to exert his leadership qualities and stays committed to promoting both the Holiday Resort Spa Guam and the Rota Resort Country Club internationally. With a strong management team from both properties behind him, his democratic leadership style is proving to be an asset to the JMSH family of properties,” the media release stated.
The Rota Resort Country Club, which features an 18-hole golf course, was acquired in August 2008 and continues to provide hotel and golf accommodations to its guests.
Aside from Holiday Resort Spa Guam and Rota Resort Country Club, JMSH LLC also owns Alupag Beach Tower, Garden Villa Hotel, Mai’ana Hotel, and Tumon Horizon Condominiums, all in Guam.
