Hyatt hosts over 200 Russian guests on NYE
Hyatt Regency Saipan said that over 200 Russian guests celebrated New Year’s Eve at the Garapan landmark hotel.
“December 31 is always a big celebration day on the calendar. Year 2008 is more exciting for our hotel. This year we had over 200 Russian guests who stayed with us to celebrate this special day,” said Hyatt in a statement issued yesterday.
Hyatt Regency Saipan annually throws an exclusive New Year’s Eve poolside dinner party for its Russian guests. This tradition got started in 2007 and last year’s was the second.
“We had over 130 guests who dressed up and attended the night’s celebrations. With an excellent buffet-style dinner, all-you-can-drink alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, a live band, and raffle prizes, our Russian guests enjoyed the night until 11:30pm. After the dinner party, guests were escorted to lobby area to join other guests from different countries, including the other Russian in-house guests, for the countdown party and fireworks. The night didn’t end there, some guests staying and celebrating until the early morning of Jan. 1, 2009.
