Salvation Army says thanks
The Salvation Army wishes to thank all those who participated in our Kettle Season this year. We are grateful to all the great folks at Price Costco for hosting us again this year. They are a wonderful group and allowing us to ring there speaks volumes about their community spirit and concern for the less fortunate. We are grateful to Marianas Cable Vision for conducting a toy drive for us again this year. Mark Birmingham and the folks at MCV are always doing something to help The Salvation Army and our clients and we cannot thank them enough.
We are also grateful to the Rotary Club of Saipan for their contributions to our toy drives. This wonderful group of folks are hard at work every day in helping our community and their assistance to The Salvation Army is just one example. We are also grateful to National Office Supply and Kagman Market for hosting our counter kettles this season. We are especially thankful that they hosted them through the entire year. Their sponsorship also speaks well of their concern for the needy and their commitment to help. We are thankful for our Advisory Board and their continuing involvement in our programs and outreaches.
Finally, we want to thank everyone who dropped money into our kettles, food into our food box and those who donated or toys for our toy drives. We cannot overemphasize the large and important role that all of you play in the meeting of needs in our community.
On a more personal note, we want to thank all the people who stopped by our kettles to say hi and chat. Ringing kettles is something we look forward to every year because everyone is so friendly. We love to meet new people, to see kids from the previous year and how much they have grown and of course, the new babies! We look forward to next year’s Kettle Season and hope that we can again work with all our sponsors and donors. Through your continuing generous support, The Salvation Army will be able to continue to feed and care for the homeless and the less fortunate.
