In preparation for June 1, when federal immigration laws will come to the CNMI, the Department of Homeland Security’s U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services is currently hiring for two positions within the Application Support Center.

The Center, which will be housed in the TSL Plaza, will allow people the ability to get fingerprinted on island as opposed to traveling to Guam. An information officer will also be a part of the support center to help those who might have questions about their status or benefits. The Application Support Center will open sometime between March 1 and June 1.

USCIS is currently accepting applications for a site supervisor and part-time biometrics technician. The staff will be responsible for taking fingerprints and photographs of applicants for immigration benefits.

Those contracted for the job will work with Northrup Grumman, the company that manages the ASC contract. They will work closely with USCIS federal employees.

All applicants must be U.S. citizens, either by birth or naturalization and submit to a credit check and drug screening.
