The U.S. Coast Guard is hosting a free half-day seminar on maritime hazardous materials transportation. If you are in the business of handling containerized shipment of hazardous goods, then this training is for you. Topics include how to use the Hazardous Materials Regulations (49 CFR Part 1185), labeling and placarding requirements, properly filling out shipping papers, and what to expect during Coast Guard’s container inspections.
