Henry Rabauliman leads Juniors in batting

Henry Rabauliman of the Patriots is currently the leader in batting average in the Junior Division of the 2009 Saipan Little League Baseball.

As of March 29, Rabauliman averaged .541 based on 21 times or more at-bat. He hit 20 of 37.

Five of Rabauliman’s other teammates landed in the Top 15.

Jared Sablan is in sixth place with .441 (15-for-34), Chris Mizer is eighth with .406 (13-for-32), Brian Camacho is ninth (.400, 14-for-35), Jeremy Rabauliman at 10th (.385, 15-for-39), and Alan Aguon at 14th (.353, 12-for-34).

The Patriots are currently on top of the division standings with 10 wins and a lone loss.

Two players from Ol’Aces’ lineup, Frankie Camacho and Lamarc Iguel, are in second and third positions with .538 (14-for-26) and .531 (17-for-32) clips.

The Red Sox’s A.J. Lizama Jr. and homerun leader Ricardo Dela Cruz of Lion Heart are tied at fourth to fifth with their similar averages of .464 after both players hit 13-for-28 at-bat.

Dela Cruz has the most homeruns with two.

Another Lion Heart, Auther Jebehn, is in seventh with a .417 average (10-for-24).

Poland Masaharu of the Fielders is at the 11th spot with his .385 (10-for-26), Clayton Aguon of the Red Sox at 12th with .370 (10-for-27), Patrick Tenorio of the Fielders at 13th with .357 (10-for-28) and Ray Aguon of Lion Heart at 15th with .333 (7-for-21).

Frankie Camacho is the leader in pitching with an earned run average of 1.08, after allowing two earned runs in 13 innings pitched.

Jared Sablan has a 1.42 ERA in second and Jake Santos of Ol’Aces is in third with a 1.50 ERA.

Completing the Top 10 in ERA is fourth place A.G. Roppul of Lion Heart (1.75), fifth Clayton Aguon (2.29), sixth Ricardo Dela Cruz (2.33), seventh Jeremy Rabauliman (2.53), eighth Brian Camacho (2.63), ninth Chris Mizer (3.15), and 10th Joseph Atalig (3.35).

Jeremy Rabauliman is the leader in strikeouts with 33 and also in triples with three.

Also in the Top 5 are Brian Camacho (24), Ricardo Dela Cruz (23), A.J. Lizama (22), and Patrick Tenorio (19).

RBI leader Lamarc Iguel has 19 and Ol’Aces is currently in second place with an 8-2 win-loss record behind the Patriots.

Iguel posted the most RBIs with 17, while Lizama has the most doubles with eight.
