Bangladeshi community to celebrate Victory Day

The Bangladeshi community of Saipan is inviting the public to join them in the celebration of their country’s Victory Day on Dec. 31 at the Garapan Fishing Base. Bangladesh Cultural Group president Rakibul Islam said that, although Victory Day actually fell on Dec. 16, the Bangladeshi community on Saipan will celebrate the event together with the new year festivities. He is urging all Bangladeshis on Saipan to join the celebration.
