Energy office, CUC tie up for arts festival
The Department of Public Works’ Energy Division Office will be collaborating with the Commonwealth Utility Corp. at the 30th Annual Flame Tree Arts Festival at American Memorial Park.
The Energy Division staff will be distributing applications and assisting individuals who are interested in the Energy Star Rebate Program and the Residential Weatherization Program. In addition, information on ways to conserve energy will be available.
They will be at the booth with CUC on the following dates and time:
-Friday, June 10, 2011, from 6pm to 8pm
-Saturday, June 11, 2011, from 12pm to 6pm
-Sunday, June 12, 2011, from 12pm to 6pm
Thelma Inos, director of the Energy Division, encourages the community to avail to the program services that are available to help reduce the energy consumptions in the households.
