Long wait
We recently had a fantastic family holiday on Saipan. Just one gripe, though. Why does it take so long to clear customs on Saipan and in Guam on arrival? The wait at Saipan to clear customs was ridiculous, something like 40 minutes with only two to three agents working and the line of 200 people stretching up the stairs.
We recently had a fantastic family holiday on Saipan. Just one gripe, though. Why does it take so long to clear customs on Saipan and in Guam on arrival? The wait at Saipan to clear customs was ridiculous, something like 40 minutes with only two to three agents working and the line of 200 people stretching up the stairs.
You read about all the unemployment on the islands so why don’t they hire more customs agents? It leaves a bad first impression.
Guam was similar several years back. It seems that two to three flights always arrive together but surely they can anticipate this and have appropriate numbers of customs agents ready to promptly clear tourists.
