NMC Adult Basic Education seeks instructors
The Northern Marianas College’s Division of Community Programs and Services’ Adult Basic Education (ABE) program is currently seeking qualified individuals to teach courses for the upcoming Fall 2011 semester.
The courses offered by ABE include Pre-General Educational Development (GED) or GED courses in reading, writing, science, social studies, mathematics, and English as a Second Language (ESL). ABE is a federally funded program focused on meeting the educational needs of adult learners in the CNMI.
Those interested in teaching courses at ABE can visit the NMC Human Resources Office in Building P at the As Terlaje campus. Required documents may be submitted to Human Resources and a copy forwarded to the ABE office for review. These documents include an updated résumé, an official record of college diploma and transcript, business license with tax identification card, valid passport or driver’s license with social security card, and a police clearance.
