A total of 55 community members availed of the free services offered at the medical mission hosted by the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ 4th Watch last month.

Church spokesperson Ronnie Doca said the medical mission, held at their San Jose church grounds on Sept. 25, saw 39 individuals who got free blood sugar screening; 38 for blood pressure; 26 for free haircut; 22 for counseling; 18 for reflexology; and 13 each for facial massage and eye check up.

Doca said the services were provided by volunteers from Marianas Eye Institute, the Northern Marianas College Nursing Club, Tropical Blend Salon, and other church volunteers.

Sponsors for the medical mission were Seventh-Day Adventist Clinic, Transamerica, Tan Holdings, and Kevin’s Department Store.

“To all volunteers and to all our sponsors, I simply want to thank all of you for your untiring support during the whole year of our medical mission and I will be expecting you next year for another round of community service for all the people of the CNMI,” Doca told Saipan Tribune.

Doca said their church will be celebrating their 12th anniversary on Sunday, Oct. 2.
