Man, 29, arrested for sexual abuse of boy
Police arrested a 29-year-old man who allegedly sexually abused a 13-year-old boy on multiple occasions.
Wilfredo Imperial Jr. was arrested for sexual abuse of a minor in the first degree, unlawful exploitation of a minor, indecent exposure, and child abuse or neglect. His bail was set at $50,000 cash. Preliminary hearing will be on Nov. 23 at 9am.
At yesterday’s hearing, assistant attorney general Peter B. Prestley called to the witness stand detective Melissa Bauleung, who narrated to the court the circumstances leading to Imperial’s arrest. It was a school staff who reported the case to the Department of Public Safety after learning about a video showing Imperial’s acts on the boy.
