Brothers Kiku and A.J. Lizama pitched and batted their way to lifting Chalan Kanoa Bears to a 10-0 shutout win over the Blue Jays in last Monday night’s game in the 2018 Saipan Baseball League at the Francisco “Tan Ko” Palacios Ballfield.
Kiku Lizama fanned nine in five innings of work on the mound, limiting the Jays to three hits and walking two. Shakobe Rangamar pitched two innings in relief, giving up one hit—a single to Quin Blas in the sixth—with one strikeout and one walk.
A.J. Lizama went 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBIs. He had an RBI single in the first inning and a two-RBI double in the sixth.
