BECQ to hold another beach cleanup

The Bureau of Environmental and Coastal Quality’s Cleanup Brigade will be organizing its third cleanup activity this year at Obyan Beach on March 7, 2020.

Volunteers who would like to come out and help can meet at Obyan Beach from 8am to 10am. Volunteers will be given water, gloves, trash bags, and pickers while supplies last.

Every month, BECQ’s Cleanup Brigade would choose an area where to pick up trash every first Saturday of the month.

“Our islands are built on the tourism industry. We want our islands to be known as the clean and beautiful CNMI,” said BECQ’s Zabrina Shai. (Chevy Kate Q. Alipio)
