Belau softball group to re-organize

Belau Softball League organizers will be holding a meeting today, Nov. 11, to plan the election of their new board members and officers at 6pm at Café MangoSix in Dandan.

The association needs to re-organize since vice president Newman Techur will be leaving the island for good, according to president Brian Adelbai.

Adelbai said that he and secretary-treasurer Perry Besong are calling all seven board members and other officers to attend the meeting.

They will also be discussing their group’s next event, a women’s fast-pitch softball league.

Adelbai said they would schedule a separate meeting for all interested women’s teams that would join the fast-pitch league.

The meeting for the women’s fast-pitch open league is either set for next week or end of the month.
