Women’s group to host family fair tomorrow
The CNMI Women’s Association will be sponsoring a family fair tomorrow as part of the CNMI Women’s Month celebration.
The event, intended to empower women and foster healthy and happy families, will be held from 8am to 4pm at the Chamolinian Utt in Garapan.
This year marks the second family fair hosted by CWA, according interim vice president Felicidad Ogumoro.
“The family fair is where we have the women in the community and their families come together and have fun,” she said.
There will be various family games, live entertainment, exhibits from different agencies and organizations, and vendor booths. CWA members will also have a booth where they will sell used items.
“We’re inviting all the women on island to come out and join us in this event. Bring along your families and friends for a day of fun,” said Ogumoro.
The family fair is among the several events hosted by CWA in March. The non-profit group will also hold a forum on healthy relationships, parenting, temporary restraining orders, and current issues next month.
