BOH temporarily closes Guam, Saipan branches today due to Typhoon Mawar

Bank of Hawai‘i will close all branch operations in Guam and on Saipan today, May 23, due to Typhoon Mawar. The bank’s Hagatna and Harmon branches in Guam and its Gualo Rai Branch on Saipan will remain closed starting today until further notice.

The bank’s Koror branch in Palau will remain open.

Call Center operations remain open to assist customers. West Pacific region customers may continue to contact Bank of Hawai‘i through its Call Center at 1-877-553-2424 for Guam and Saipan. Bank of Hawai‘i’s Call Center on Guam will be automatically re-routed to Hawai‘i.

Online and mobile banking services will continue to operate unless power interruptions are experienced. Bank of Hawai‘i will also place public updates on all of its social media platforms.

Bank of Hawai‘i will continue to assess the status of its West Pacific branches, and will update the public on branch closures and reopenings as Mawar continues on its path. (PR)
