WASHINGTON, D.C.—Guam Delegate Madeleine Z. Bordallo recently attended a ceremony on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial recognizing the promotion of U.S. Army Major Gina San Nicolas to lieutenant colonel. The ceremony was presided over by General Daniel B. Allyn, Vice Chief of Staff of the Army.

“I am extremely proud of all of our soldiers from Guam and today was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments and leadership potential of Lieutenant Colonel Gina San Nicolas” said Bordallo. “Gina has recently served with distinction as the Aide de Camp to the Vice Chief of Staff of the Army, General Dan Allyn, and I look forward to following her career and future successes as she moves on to assume new leadership challenges in her follow-on assignments. She is a great role model for our young women on Guam who wish to serve our nation as leaders in the military. ”
