Valentine’s Day could not come any faster with “Love on the Run,” a fun walk or run fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Saipan.

Scheduled this Saturday, Feb. 8, at the Micro Beach Pavilion with a show time at 5:30am, Love on the Run, which encourages racers to wear red, will begin at 6:15am with 5K to turn around at the 13 Fishermen’s Monument and the 10K to turn around near the Oleai Beach Bar & Grill.

The top male and female finishers for the 5K and 10K, as well as top male and female age categories—19 years old and under, ages 20 to 40 and ages 40 and above—finishers will receive prizes.

“We wanted to do something fun and healthy for the family before Valentine’s Day, and Love on the Run provides a great way to exercise and raise funds for worthwhile community projects,” said Saipan Rotary Club director Reina Camacho.

Entry is only $10 per person and includes refreshments and raffle ticket for more prizes. Special edition t-shirts will also be raffled and on sale to further help the club raise funds for its community projects.

Forms are available at Rotary Club of Saipan’s Facebook Page or you could call Camacho at 989-7346 or Ben Babauta at 483-2563.

All proceeds will go to the Saipan Rotary Club’s community projects.
