The 2014 Marianas March Against Cancer Committee is inviting all cancer survivors and those undergoing cancer treatment to its “Annual Survivor Dinner” on May 2 at the Hopwood Junior High School field in Chalan Piao.
The dinner is held in honor of the MMAC event and will begin at 6pm.

“As a way of showing our support and respect to all our loved ones who have been directly affected by cancer, the MMAC Committee, together with our generous sponsors, will be hosting a survivor dinner,” said 2014 MMAC Committee chair Manny Borja.

“Each survivor will be treated to a complimentary dinner buffet and will be awarded a unique medallion and T-shirt commemorating their fight against cancer. This is a very important part of the MMAC. Every one of us knows someone who has been affected by cancer and the survivor dinner and ceremony is our chance to celebrate their perseverance and strength,” Borja added.

The 2014 MMAC will be held from 6pm to 6am on May 2 to 3 at Hopwood Junior High School field in Chalan Piao.

MMAC’s title sponsors are Bank of Guam, Delta Air Lines, DFS Saipan, Ltd., GPPC, Island Apparel, IT &E, Joeten Daidai Foundation, Marianas Variety, Sorensen Media Group, and Take Care/FHP.

MMAC’s major sponsors are Brabu Pharmacy, Docomo Pacific, First Hawaiian Bank, IP&E, McDonald’s of Saipan, Precision Medical Imaging, Saipan Mayor’s Office, Traders Insurance Co., and Xerox Corp.
