Chamber meeting on June 7
The Saipan Chamber of Commerce will have its monthly general membership meeting next week Wednesday, June 7, at the Saipan World Resort’s Royal Taga Room. The occasion will also feature the announcement of its scholarship awards. Lunch will begin at 11:30am and the meeting will begin promptly at 12pm.
“Our Education Committee has been busy reviewing the applications, and the personal interviews are in process. There are so many deserving students in our schools! We will be highlighting some of our best and brightest young professionals at this membership meeting.
Wednesday’s speakers will include the following:
Cathryn Javier, 2016 scholarship recipient
Glen Hunter, Saipan Young Professionals mentor and The Shack owner
Rosalyn Ajoste, Saipan Southern High School librarian, SYP member
Kristal Johnson, SYP member and 2016 Koblerville Elementary School Teacher of the Year (PR)
