4.6-magnitude quake in Guam
At 9:23pm on June 28, 2021, a report of a 4.6-magnitude earthquake occurred 227 kilometers west-southwest of Merizo Village, Guam. Currently, no tsunami warnings or advisories are issued by the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center. For more information, contact the CNMI EOC State Warning Point at 237-8000. (PR)

Box jellyfish advisory
Guam’s Department of Agriculture’s Division of Aquatic and Wildlife Resources Fisheries would like to remind people to be on the lookout for box jellyfish. Box jellyfish can be found on the beach or in the water, especially on reef flats. Box jellyfish are anticipated from July 2-5, 2021. Box jellyfish can sting even if washed on the beach and dead. If box jellyfish are seen, notify DAWR Fisheries at (671) 735-0289/91/94 or email fisheries@doag.guam.gov. (PR)
