CUC to flush fire hydrants, exercise gate valves
The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. will be performing routine maintenance on fire hydrants and water gate valves in Koblerville, Afetna, San Antonio, Lower Base, Puerto Rico Sadog Tasi, and Capital Hill this week until Friday, July 7, 2012. The maintenance will involve flushing fire hydrants to clean the water main lines and the exercising of gate valves.
If you experience brackish or brown water in your faucets during this scheduled maintenance, allow the water to flow until the water turns clear.
