Delay seen in start of counting
Rota ran out of thermal paper for the tabulating machine so the Commonwealth Election Commission is now in the process of sending the paper to the island, which would cause further delay in the tabulation.
A Star Marianas plane will be flying from Tinian to Saipan tonight to pick up the thermal paper, then will fly to Rota to deliver the supply and then return to Saipan.
