Delta Air Lines named title sponsor of 2014 MMAC

The 2014 Marianas March Against Cancer Committee has named Delta Air Lines a title sponsor of this year’s edition of the annual march.
Title sponsor is the highest level of sponsorship for the Marianas March Against Cancer.
Delta representatives turned over its donation to MMAC committee members yesterday at the Francisco C. Ada/Saipan International Airport.
The donations consisted of one Economy Class ticket to the United States, one Economy Class ticket to Japan, and a $300 travel credit voucher. The Delta donation will be raffled off as prizes at the MMAC.
“The 2014 MMAC committee extends its gratitude to Delta Air Lines for their generous support in the fight against cancer. Their contribution is sincerely appreciated,” said MMAC committee chair Manny Borja.
“Delta Air Lines is pleased to once again become a title sponsor of the MMAC,” said Delta Air Lines sales executive Chris A. Concepcion. “We support the CCA’s efforts in their battle against this deadly affliction. We know that cancer is a leading cause of death in the CNMI so we are glad to put our support behind this noble cause.”
MMAC teams will be selling raffle tickets for $5 each and prizes include the Delta donation along with other items.
The 2014 MMAC has begun preparations for the largest annual cancer fundraising event in the Northern Mariana Islands. It is the largest fundraising activity and signature fundraising event of the Commonwealth Cancer Association.
The 2014 MMAC will be held on May2-3 at the Hopwood Junior High School field in Chalan Piao.
