Emergency power interruption

As part of the power and water restoration efforts in the wake of Typhoon Dolphin, the Commonwealth Utilities Corporation (CUC) will conduct an emergency power interruption to replace a power pole severely damaged during the storm.

At 3:30pm, CUC will turn off Feeder 7, which provides power from the Power Plant to the northern villages. This emergency service interruption will allow CUC linemen to replace a power pole along Chalan Pale Arnold in Tanapag.

The pole in question, located in front of I-Mart, poses a safety risk and replacement efforts are expected to take just over two and a half hours to complete.
