Employer training conference today and tomorrow on Tinian
As part of National Disability Employment Awareness Month activities, the planning committee has lined up a series of workshops/trainings on Tinian today and tomorrow to benefit employers by way of increasing their awareness and understanding of disability employment issues. The training will take place at the Tinian NMC Campus, Room D.
NDEAM’s key trainer is Philip L. Marlowe of the Guam-based Office of Federal Contracts Compliance Program of the U.S. Department of Labor.
Today’s training will be a whole-day event, while tomorrow will be a morning-only event.
Marlowe represents the U.S. Department of Labor and for the last two years as compliance officer for the Office of Federal Contracts Compliance Programs for Guam and the CNMI. He has a master’s degree in Business Management and is a graduate of the U.S. Department of Defense Equal Opportunity Institute and a former Equal Opportunity Officer for the U.S. Army. Additionally, Marlowe serves as adjunct faculty with the University of Phoenix School of Business Administration and previously with the University of Maryland, University College and Central Texas College Department of Criminal Justice.
