In the story titled “Many at hearing said yes to pot bill” that was published on Oct. 25, 2017, it mistakenly quoted one of those who testified, Laura Muña, as saying that “the use of marijuana alleviates her daughter’s pain.” This is incorrect. It should state that the use of marijuana “would hopefully” alleviate her daughter’s pain. Our apologies. The online version of this article has been edited to reflect this correction.
