Shor lived on Saipan from 2003-2007 and taught filmmaking at the Northern Marianas College. He wrote and directed videos for the Visitors’ Channel, public service announcements, and the night time soap opera State of Liberty.
whats the point… is an illustrated coffee table rhyme book created expressly for children and adults. It is illustrated by noted filmmaker Judy Spier, along with LeFan Tu. According to a press release, the book is dedicated “to anyone who has loved and lost and learned to love again.”
Shor lives now in New York City with his wife Jie Hua (who he met on Saipan) and their daughter Fan. Since leaving Saipan, Shor has acted in TV shows such as Blue Bloods, Bull, and Jessica Jones, in indie films, as well as on stage in New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Minnesota. He said he misses Saipan dearly and plans to visit in the near future. (PR)
