GMS Math Team tops Math Court team-round event
Six of the Green Meadow School Middle School Math Court team dominated during the Math Court competition last Oct. 19 at Marianas High School.
The Team topped the team-round event. The team consisted of four students namely: Joseph Victor Jimenez, Areeza Gaile Anda, Chealzka Navarro, and John Edsel Hinolan. Joseph Victor Jimenez (8th grade) also ranked first place in the individual-round event. Yel Khalil Ocampo (6th grade) placed third. Another 6th grader, John Edsel Hinolan, placed 4th, while Chealzka Navarro (7th grade) ranked 4th, too.
These students already earned their spots at the regional competition along with two other middle schoolers, Solana Arro Hunter (7th grade) and Areeza Gaile Anda (8th grade).
