Group to mark Earhart’s birthday
The Amelia Earhart Saipan Memorial Monument, Inc. will be celebrating Amelia Earhart’s 125th birthday on July 23, 2022, Saturday, at the American Memorial Park Indoor Theatre from 1pm to 3pm.
AESMMI is inviting the descendants of local eyewitnesses to join us in sharing the stories with those interested. Some of the known eyewitnesses are Josephine Blanco (Akiyama), Matilde F. Arriola, Joaquina Muna Cabrera, Jose Sadao Tomokane, Manuel Aldan, Carlos Palacios, Antonio M. Cepeda, Pedro Sakisat, Gregorio Camacho (Ellis), Francisco Diaz, Jesus Boyer, Francisco Tudela, and Jesus Salas.
