Guam performers unite for Yutu relief
The night of Nov. 17 if you happened to have been in Agana Heights in Guam, you might have heard the music floating out of the Elks Lodge. A number of local performers came together to share their musical talents for a Yutu relief concert. The performers brought their creativity to the stage to benefit people in the CNMI who are working to rebuild Saipan and Tinian after the devastating effects of Super Typhoon Yutu.
Proceeds from the concert were recently donated to Karidat Social Services on Saipan which has been helping to fill in some of the gaps left in the wake of the Federal Emergency Management Agency and American Red Cross assistance. Karidat is grateful to the organizers and performers: Ben LamLam, Walden and Violy, Dyun Gases, Daniel Deleon Guerrero, Tailgaters, Konference Band, Frank Guerrero, Wayne Schwartz, Zun Torrez, and others.
“Your generosity in sharing your talents to help the people of Saipan and Tinian is greatly appreciated!” organizers said. (PR)
