High school canoe season kicks off Saturday
The Public School System Interscholastic Outrigger Canoe Competition will start its series of races this Saturday at Kilili Beach.
The first leg will feature sprints events and will run from 8am to 11:30am. The second leg is set for May 4 and will also have sprint races, while the long distance event is scheduled for May 18. The season will then conclude on May 25 with the double-point sprint championships.
Northern Marianas National Paddle Sports Federation will sanction the races and will assists PSS in holding the competition for high school students. (Saipan Tribune)
