Hours extended for temporary water outage

The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. has extended the temporary water outage for customers in the vicinity of Capital Hill as work continues on a water line and pressure improvement project.

Customers near Capital Hill, Wireless Ridge, and portions of Chalan Galaide remain without water service while CUC Water personnel and CUC’s contractor, Maeda Inc., work to connect the new water main to the current distribution line on Capital Hill.

There is no timeline for the work to be completed but CUC and Maeda Inc. personnel will work until water service is restored to the area.
